How to listen to us

You can listen to Antenna Radio on our website, on our App, on various radio platforms and services and on DAB Digital Radio.

Background

Along with all other local, community and commercial radio stations in the UK, Antenna Radio has to fulfil certain criteria, set by the regulator Ofcom, with respect to the amount of music we play, our speech output, and local content. This is called the ‘Format’, and the Public File is our way of helping you understand how we meet these requirements.

News

News Bulletins

National news bulletins are broadcast at the top of the hour, every hour of every day, containing a mixture of local, national and international news together with entertainment and sports news.

The audio and journalistic content of these bulletins remains the sole responsibility of the Radio News Hub and Antenna Radio does not hold influence or control in the nature or context of the broadcast. The news broadcast will be clearly identified to listeners as a broadcast by the Radio News Hub and listeners will always be made aware both prior to, and at the start of the hourly broadcast of the contents source.

In the event of a significant news event, Antenna Radio may chose without prior notice to its audience to switch to any exceptional coverage provided by the Radio News Hub in its service provision to the station.
